Magic of Lights is always one of the biggest, most spectacular holiday light displays of the season on Long Island, and it's back for another magical run at Jones Beach State Park for 2024. A drive-through holiday light experience that you can take in from the warmth of your vehicle, this display features millions of LED lights that recreate scenes from your favorite holiday shows, movies, and stories. In addition to the drive-through lights, you can stop by the Holiday Village for refreshments, shopping, entertainment, and photos with Santa.
Magic of Lights is open daily through January 4, 2025, with discounts available if you purchase your ticket online. Your full carload is accounted for with one ticket, so this is also quite an affordable holiday event for the whole family to enjoy. -
LuminoCity Lights Festival – 1899 Park Blvd., East Meadow, NY 11554
Through January 5, 2025, Eisenhower Park is transformed into a magical holiday wonderland with the amazing LuminoCity Lights Festival. The spectacular scenes that you'll find in this walk-through holiday light display are truly unique, drawing from famous fairy tales and enchanting locations from around the world, in addition to scenes with a holiday theme. It's considered the largest immersive lights festival in the United States, with a great gift shop, food trucks, and special theme nights in addition to the lights. -
GSSC Holiday Light Show – 1500 Lakeview Ave., Bayport, NY 11705
The GSSC Holiday Light Show is a wonderful walk-through light display created yearly by the Girl Scouts of Suffolk County and hosted at Camp Edey. Walk the trail through the woods with twinkling holiday lights illuminating classic scenes that evoke all of the feelings of the season. Many displays have been created by local Girl Scouts from Long Island, and the event is also an important fundraiser for the organization. Experience it all through December 21, 2024, and grab your tickets in advance, as they can only be purchased online. -
Riverhead Holiday Light Show – 2549 Splish Splash Drive, Calverton, NY 11933
Splish Splash waterpark is always a great destination for summer fun, but did you know that it also hosts the annual Riverhead Holiday Light Show? This drive-through display is back for its seventh year and bigger than ever, with a full one-mile route packed with lights including many new displays for this year, all set to music you can sync to with your car radio. This display is open every Thursday through Sunday until December 31, 2024, and photos with Santa are available on weekend evenings throughout the event.
