Sell Your Long Island Home Curb Appeal
As soon as the weather starts to get warmer, so does the Long Island real estate market. Our REALTORS® are already hearing from sellers who are getting ready to list their homes in time for spring. First impressions are critical and putting some effort into improving your curb appeal will go a long way towards helping your home stand out from the crowd.

While you certainly could make major changes like painting the entire exterior of your home, that's not always necessary. Often, a few simple and inexpensive updates can make a huge difference. Here are some ideas to help you get started.

  1. Give Your Home a Thorough Cleaning
Before you start any work on your home, give it a thorough cleaning. You'll be amazed at how much dirt, mildew, and other build-up has collected on your house.

Start by washing your siding with soapy water and a long-handled brush. Pressure-wash your driveway and walkways and clean all of your windows inside and out. Don't forget to scrub down your garage door so it goes back to the color it was originally intended to be.
