Celebrate National Fettuccine Alfredo Day
Alfredo di Lelio's wife Ines was in the throes of perinatal pain, refusing to eat. She had no appetite until her beloved Alfredo, way back in 1908, mixed up some fresh pasta, cheese, and butter. Thursday, February 7 is National Fettuccine Alfredo Day, to offer thanks to Alfredo (and Ines, his muse) for his tasty invention.
