I have three children currently in Canaan. I have found the teachers overwhelmingly supportive and accessible. I also understand that every parent does have different opinions. They have a great culture that supports education on every level. Which includes community service and personal responsibility. But, there is always room for improvement.

I took my child out of Catholic school this year and he now attends Medford Elementry. This school has so much more to offer than the Catholic school. He is so happy and doing so well and the teachers are wonderful!

River av. is a excellent school. My older son attended river and was well prepared for the middle and highschool. He is now a honor student in the highschool and and involved in clubs and sports. Great schools to prepare for college!

I'm a seventh grade student who attends Saxton Middle School and loves it there. The teachers are welcoming and friendly, and try to push your kids in the right direction to get really awesome grades. We get 4 minutes to change from class to class which is 2 more minutes than the other two middle schools. The after school activities are fun and exciting as well. i also believe, that Saxton is the safest place to go out of our three middle schools. Have a wonderful experience!!

Holy Angels is an excellent school. The teachers are very dedicated and help the child to reach his or her own potential. Many parents were unhappy with the principal that we had after Sr. Elise. However, the new principal is full of enthusiasm and truly works to make the school top notch. I can not understand parents stating that their aren't opportunities for parent involvement because there are plenty of opportunities. It also amazes me that a parent would state that the teachers don't care whether or not the child learns. I find the contrary to be true. My child's third grade teacher still e-mails me and gives suggestions for helping my daughter with reading. I have taught in public school, and I can tell you firsthand that the education provided at Holy Angels is far superior.The education is more than academics. The children live their faith every day; it is central to everything that they do, and it should be. I love Holy Angels- from the secretary who is so sweet and helpful, to the principal who strives for more, to the teachers who want the most for their students, to the family that you become a part of. I would definitely recommend Holy Angels.

I feel like everyone I have met in this school cares about my child. My son and my daughter love their school. The building looks old, but its clean. I hope the rest of the district is like this school.
