This is a wonderful, small school, with caring teachers and a true sense of community. The newly-hired superintendant (2010) is a true educational leader who understands the budget process and respectfully expects the teachers to provide their best work at all times. She is giving the teachers the tools they need to succeed and has high expectations for everyone who works in the school. The parents here are very involved. Because of its small size, the student/teacher ratio is generally very low, and students receive all of the individual attention that they need.

The student body and faculty are amazing... it is a place with lots of positive energy where every individual is respected by, and respectful of others... there is a very strong academic program along with great student activities, arts programs and athletics. Go Hollow!

My daughter is in 6th grade and has been going to Hackley for 2 years. We left the public school as she was not being challenged in the class and did not feel the kids in her class were particularly motivated to learn. Its been a huge difference at Hackley, the kids setup their own 4 way video conf calls so they can do homework together (mostly) and she has a great group of friends who are all motivated. The teachers for the most part have been very good and are very helpful with after class instruction and additional enrichment. I think overall its a great environment.

This school is worth every penny of tuition. The teachers and administration or top notch and the education that my children are receiving rivals any public or private school in the area. Test scores are consistently excellent and the school has a caring and nurturing feeling about it. I know my children are safe and well care for.

An amazing school with a smart dedicated staff who actually know each and every kid. It's a great prep for the Sleepy Hollow HS which offers more AP and after school activities than any other Westchester school we've seen.
