When our teacher said in September that every kid in her gifted K class would know how to read by February, I didn t believe her. To my surprise, my daughter is reading level H books now! In spite of challenging budget year, PS-195 is finding ways to offer chess, yoga, music and computer classes to all children even in K! A new afterschool program is now available in the school building. My kid loves her school, her teacher and her class!

This is an amazing school! I have a few daughters there. The teachers and staff are amazing. The principals are warm and caring. THE BUILDING IS is beautiful. The education is up to par with the rest of the schools in the area.

My daughter started Pre-K this year and she loves every minute of it shes very happy with the teachers and staff .. I am really happy that i choose this school as a parent!

My child is 3 years old and is so happy at this school. The staff is excellent. They are effective in their teaching but equally nurturing. My son is learning so much -and his Hebrew gets better and better by the day. I could not have made a better choice.

I am proud to be a graduate of this public school, which was many years ago. I came from a big family and had recently immigrated to United States. We came here with just our clothes on our backs. My experience at P.S. was tough but I took alot away from that. One specific teacher Mrs. Beatrice, who taught 5th graders, made a big difference in my life. She enlisted in me the importance of self confidence and that you can do anything if you put your mind to it. Though they were not her exact words but it was hers actions and continous attention to each student as an individual that I still remember to this day. From that point I went onto graduate high school, complete my bachelor's degree, and then entered medical school. I completed my residency and am currently an emergency medicine physician. Thank you Mrs. Beatrice, where ever you are!!

My daughter went to this school, she is now 16 years old and she believes this school was one of the best things that could have happened to her. It had such a good environment, vibe, and focus to its students, that she feels could not have started her academic life off better anywhere else. This school set her off with a wonderful foundation in computer skills, health, art, and music, along with great knowledge in core subjects such as English, Math, Science, and Social Studies. I can say that in today's world America's education is not too impressive and that the teachers in most schools are not qualified, but when my kids went here they were very intelligent with genuine interest for learning in the fun and caring environment they were in. I hope that this school only remains excellent and I wish to assist them in any help they may ever need in the future.

i disagree with the parents that rates this school bad. I'm a 2004 alumni, and i say that grady staff members try their best to help students. Shcool is a place to maintain an education, and expand your knowledge. It's not a school's responsibility to treat your child manners, and they dont have to discipline your child. That's the parents job. I'm tired of parents who point fingers at the school when their child is not trying to make an effort. I was one of the first graduating students of the college now program, which is very intense. I graduated with 55 credits within four years Thank You. I had counselors from different programs, and a track team coach that always motivated me. Thanks to my parents who were concerned about my education, and the staff of William E. Grady I'm in a R.N. nursing Program reching my dream.

I am a student at the Bay Academy and this school makes you want to keep on trying harder with your learning. I<3 this SCHOOL!! It allows you to make friends that are always on your side and that help you with your homework and projects. It feels just like home! The air is fresh and you are ready to learn and improve your talents in talent class. It is pretty hard learning in this school but it is worth it. It is hard because the teachers are trying to push you into trying to work harder on your work. The work is worth it and I think i have made the right decision to go to this school after taking the the talent test and not Mark Twain. Mark Twain has weak Math and Science but the Bay has Advances English language arts and it is also known as the school of the arts and sciences. The Math is supper advanced and we learn things that we did not even see other middle schools do. This school allows me to get a better chance of getting into the best high school like BERGAN COUNTY TECH HIGH SCHOOL or other. This school is 10 times better than Mark Twain in most subjects. The Bay Academy has nice strong confident teachers that you can trust and they will do anything for you to pass. AWS!!

I'm a sophomore- but when I first entered Lincoln as a freshmen I wont lie- I was scared. Not only didn't I really know anyone there but everything was just so new. Fear is a rational response to such things, but after about a week of school into only did I get accustomed to the teachers and new surroundings but also the kids were nice. Not only had majority of the freshmen population known you by the end of the year but also a few sophomores/juniors/and seniors had befriended you. The teachers are more then supportive and are always looking out for your best interest. They make sure that the concept of the lesson was understood and everyone is able to complete any assignments that was sent home/done in class. Overall this is a great school.
