New Voices is a great school!!! Mr. G. is a top notch administrator. I have not been at a school meeting or event where he wasn't actively involved. My daughter is in the 8th grade and says often "I love my school". The academics are challenging, however the teachers are there to help the kids in any way possible. More than that they expose them to outside venues to enhance their overall education.

This is a excellent school to prepare your child for college, the college counselor they have goes beyond his call of duty to assure your child is know by all the colleges. not only he prepares them but he help guide your child all the way thru the process and paper work need. I would give the school two tombs up all the way.

I can't say enough about this school. The staff is on top of things - my child attended middle school here and is now back in the high school. The principal runs a tight ship and holds her staff and students accountable - something we don't see every day in the NYC Education system. My child is working her way back after spending a year away and failing miserably. Ms. Reif knows her students, her door is always open. A little weak on the guidance for high school, but the middle school guidance counselor is amazing.

Excellent school. Strong Principal leadership as well as great quality of teachers . I have 1 5th grader and 2 pre K children in the school. Amazing within one month of attending my 4 year olds are speaking Arabic and some Spanish, as well as identifying English and Arabic letters, numbers and words. Couldn't be more pleased. The school, teaches the children respect and discipline. And most important, the children enjoy going to school they have fun learning.

St.Francis Xavier School is such a wonderful learning place for me. I have been in St.Francis Xavier since Kindergarten. Now I'm in 8th grade getting ready to graduate in two months. Sister Kathleen is an excellent principal. She makes sure everything is in order everday. The teachers are also amazing. They help you understand what you don't get and are very friendly. This is why I like St. Francis Xavier School.

The call themselves the best kept secret in Brooklyn. Well I hope the secret gets out. State of the art computer lab is a great addition. I recommend you check it out.

This school is the best-kept educational secret in Brooklyn. We looked at private schools and couldn't justify the high tuition and while we have a great public school in my district, the over-crowding was a concern to me. My son has thrived at St. Saviour and loves it. I love it because of the small class size and top notch curriculum. The teachers and warm and caring and it is a wonderful diverse community.

I loved going to Bishop Ford. I love the teachers they were very supportive. The school made me feel very important as a student. The counselors talked to me. They had good programs. The community service program thought me too care about people. Brother Tommy's retreats are good. I would like to send a shout out to Ms. Dutes, she is strict but she made me feel like I could do the work and I did. I enjoyed working with Mr. Mingrone and Mr. Butta, they made me feel important. The teachers are good. I have learned a lot at Bishop Ford. I would recommend it to anyone.

My child loves her teachers, and friends at PS 133. She comes home happy everyday, and I wouldn't put her in any other school. They are in a beautiful school building, and provide many hands on learning events. Parents are a big part of their child's learning experience. I would recommend this school to any parent looking for a great elementary school.

My two girls (k and 2nd grade) transferred here from a progressive independent school in manhattan this year, as we moved to Brooklyn. We all couldn't be happier with P.S. 10. Laura Scott is an amazing educator, and our girls' teachers are superb. The active P.T.A. brings a great wealth of activities and involvement to the student and parent bodies. I'm also in love with the school infrastructure. The gym has so much character, and the library and science labs are really tremendous. P.S. 10 is a real gem.

My son is in his third year at this school, which we chose over a gifted-student-only magnet school. We have adored and admired all of his teachers. In first grade, he's reading beyond fifth-grade level and is encouraged in his passions for drawing and science. The social-studies curriculum is amazingly deep. The student body is large, but the staff controls for that in creative, effective ways. One day while chaperoning a field trip I watched a fire drill where every student SILENTLY filed out of the building. It was awe-inspiring. The school also has a kindness culture that works amazingly well. Involvement by parents is embraced and appreciated. Teachers here work hard and take great pride in what they do and how their students do. They also celebrate their students' success and encourage them constructively. I really could not wish for a better educational experience for my son, public or private. Plus, this school is three blocks from our home. It's an amazing gift to our child to have such a love of school from the start. Everytime I see Liz Phillips, our principal, I beg her to never retire -- because now we also have a baby!

Overall I Love this school. There's no other school in NY where the principal/staff member stand infront of theschool everyday to greet the kids/parents. Mrs M and Ms Kathy are amazing at their job. The class sizes are very small so your child gets the one on one help that they deserve. The curriculum is very challenging, lots of homework, but I wouldn't change it for world. However, I would love to see the overall math/reading scores increase and the prinicpal Mrs Tettonis has implemented programs to get that issue addressed, from hiring more teachers to a more vigorous math and reading program. However, she can't accomplish this goal without the help from parents. Keep up the great work HCCS:)

Incredible principal, faculty and parent community make this school a wonderful place for my two boys to learn and grow. My oldest son is now in 3rd grade and my youngest is in 1st. Every year has been fantastic. The school supports the whole child, and as much as possible, ensures that students get exposure to and a balance of music, art, theater, physical education and academics. The teachers are terrific. There is a growing PTA and parent community that is incredibly active and supportive. The library is beautiful and the science program is strong. The kids are hands on from day one -- learning how to be scientists in everything they do. The after school program offers a wonderful variety of options-soccer, yoga, gymnastics, drama, puppet making, cooking, various art classes, guitar, percussion, gardening, lego club, etc.). The school community is warm, creative and supportive. We are so happy to be part of the PS 10 family. It's a special place.

PS 39 is a gem of a school. The teachers are truly dedicated and the parent association is very strong. There are many school events, such as an nternational potluck dinner, Halloween party, and carnival, where the parents and teachers come together to make this school a true community. Ms. De Paz (principal) is super. My daughter feels great about herself, has many friends, and is academically challenged.

Being at MS51 was one of the best experiences I have ever had. I was in this school for all 3 years, and I was in the chorus program, and a part of the Middle School 51 show choir, which was a second family for me for those years. Our performances were of excellent quality, and it was such a wonderful experience to be a part of something bigger than myself, and I will carry that on with me for the rest of my life. I had first rate teachers in each grade, and I try to go back and visit the school, so I can say hi to all of them. Many people consider junior high to be a nasty time in their lives, and I am so glad I went to 51, so that my middle school time was not like that. It was so wonderful. Thank you 51!

My daughter is in third grade and my son is in kindergarten at the school. The administration and teachers are excellent. The arts curriculum really differentiates this school from peer schools in the area. Parent involvement is superb. My children are getting a very strong academic and arts education in a familial and multi-cultural environment.

My son was new to the school last year for the 2nd grade, he loves the school. The PTA can be a bit much but they do a lot for the school, they seem to control the administration. I still feel even with that issue its a wonderful school where I have seen my son grow intellectually, something I think we wouldn't had gotten at his last school.
