If you want to do well in high school you will. It's up to the you, the student, to decide on taking the most challenging courses available. I'm currently a senior and my experience has been great. My senior class is very loving and we are like a big family. It has been rare seeing a conflict spark up and if it does it's minor. I feel safe walking into school, during class, and while going from class to class. Since it is a small school, I was able to build really close bonds with the teachers and ask for help, advice, and anything in between. I was part of Cross Country and Track and Field, I got a great sense of athletics in the school and I can say there is no judging based on your physical abilities, in fact, other students help you become better. Diversity at this school can be better, but everyone is very accepting of each other regardless of race, sexual orientation, gender, and religion. My time was great.

My top 3 favorite things at Bard are: 1. Environment- Bard gives us so much more freedom than other schools, not only physically but intellectually. We are given the freedom to express ourselves in what we say or what we wear. It is also a very safe and inviting place for everyone of different race, cultures, genders, sexual orientation, status, etc. This school tries they very best to give students a liberal environment to learn in. 2. Education- What make Bard stand out from many high schools is the early college program. Once students finish their first two years of high school, they enter the early college program in which they take college classes with real college credits. This means that when we graduate after our 4 years here, we not only get a high school diploma, we also receive our Liberal Arts Associate's Degree from Bard College. Our curriculum is at an accelerated level, and although it's challenging, the discussion we get in classes are so thought-provoking and worth it. 3. Teachers- The teachers at Bard are simply amazing. They challenge their students and understand the content they teach and know how to explain it in a matter that students understand. The engage with students in class and outside of class, and know how to relate to the students. The teachers all strive to be better by always making sure to take in students' opinions on how they teach and making sure they adapting to a student's needs.

I've been in this school since 7th grade and there are some special things about this school. For example, teachers in this school are called by their first name so it feels like they are someone that is on the same level as you and can be someone that you can speak to. As I've progressed through the years I've met so many smart and fun friends that I'm still around with. We've experienced so many things such as field day and most especially our middle school trip frost valley, where we stayed in the Catskill Mountains near nature and had fun doing many activities. These unique experiences are some things that I would never forget about.

My experiences at this school so far have being very nice. I started to love school even more when I entered sports team because everybody was so united and they were willing to help you with anything you need. All the teachers and students there are very friendly and very comprehensive. All the extracurricular activities are amazing and the school have a very nice variety of them. The multicultural events are very nice and educational , they provide a sense of unity in within school.
