After years of struggling with my child not learning, we have found a true blessing. My son, sat in a closet (off the gym) last year, in a school which was supposedly the best that Riverdale had to offer, PS 81. I constantly complained that my son's school work was not being modified. The entire environment was so unwelcoming. My son learned nothing and was totally distraught. He wanted to hurt himself. A case was opened and we were referred to Greenburgh by CBSE. Oh my god, I can't beleive the progress my son has made. Last year my son refused to read past three lines. He know reads at least six pages. When he comes from school, he knows what to do with his homework and needs very little guidance. From our first visit to Greenburgh we knew it was a special place. Children were greeted by adults with warm genuine care.
