Caring, dedicated staff. They work hard to help students excell and inspire them so that they develop a desire for knowledge and learning. The principal has great vision and leadership, a hard working PTA and our children are getting ivy league education in a public school. Brookside rocks and they have the blue ribbon to show for it!

My son just completed his first year. We moved within close proximity of Lenox mostly due to their great reputation. I have become totally enchanted with the administration, organization, and leadership exhibited by Principal Acevedo. It is so unfortunate that more of the school budget isn't distributed to those professionals like Mrs. Acevedo that have proven results. My wife and I are very pleased with the ratings of all elementary and middle schools in Baldwin. The high school is another story and despite receiving a larger budget allocation has managed to cascade downward well beyond mediocrity. We will most likely be moving to a stronger high school district within the next 5-7 years.

Great school! I am so happy with the teachers, the principal and the program. My kids love it! The small size of the school is mostly a plus (small class size). The PTA is great - very involved and welcoming to new parents.

As the President of Plaza PTA is warms my heart to see all the positive feedback Plaza Elementary and our PTA is getting. The staff and faculty of Plaza goes above and beyond for our children. Plaza PTA is a driving force behind all the childrens Cultural Arts Assemblies. Our members work hard to fund raise throughout the school year to offer our children the best in educational and fun events. After serving Plaza PTA for 14 years my youngest will graduate to Baldwin Middle School in June 2010. I plan to make the most of my last year here at Plaza, and if you would like to join me... e mail plazapta@aol.com for details on becoming a Plaza PTA member! I have a second grader attending Shubert and a kindergartner on the way. I love the principal of the school (Ms May). She genuinely wants to do the best for our children and will push them to be their best. The Faculty and parents are very nice. It is a very small school and like a family.

I was so impressed by this school when I went to visit at their open house today. I was met with smiling faces everywhere I went and was excited to see so much parent involvement! The teachers seem wonderful and SMARTBOARDS in every classroom is something very valuable in todays world. I was so happy to see so many athletic teams being offered as part of the schools membership in the Catholic Middle School Athletic Association. I'm happy to say that my children will be coming to St. Christopher next year!

I used to go to this school but I just want to say that I went to the school 3 years ago in the 2nd and 3rd grade. I was part of the chorus and the best singer in the whole entire school. I was also in the orchestra but only went on the field trips. That elementary brought many memories and moments that I will cherish forever. |
