This school is a fantastic School to enroll your student in. As I attended Leo F. Giblyn in the years 2000-2004, I can attest to this. I am currently a senior in high school, and I wrote about Giblyn in my College essay. I have been accepted into Florida State University and without the experience and ;lessons learned in my tender youth at Giblyn I would not be where I am now.

Giblyn is a great school. My son just started first grade here. He is very happy, loves his teacher and is making great progress particularly with reading and writing. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the principal and teachers are amazingly accessible, receptive and responsive to parents' requests and concerns.

Giblyn has been a wonderful experience for my grandchildren. My children came from an abused home and were behind in their academics. Thanks to Giblyn's caring and concerned teachers, extra help programs, my grandchildren are excelling in reading and math.

I lost count on how many times my daughter did not have her scheduled gym class because they were using the gym for something else. I also lost count on how many times my daughter brought homework home that was xeroxed poorly with the right side of the page completely cut off, or portions of math geometry homework that should have been shaded that was not. Homework is not regularly checked by the teachers either. Can't wait to enroll my daughter in private school!

My son is a student here. He is doing well in first grade and his teacher is doing a great job at maximizing the resources that are available to her. He has just started the enrichment program there - I can't wait to see how it is and how he does. There have been some discipline issues on the bus and I am satisfied at how they were handled. I would like to see more extra-curricular activities made available to his grade level.
