I was a student at EMHS until i had to leave because i was caught cutting school. The school is very good academically but it isn't really good when it comes to the discipline. The kids over there are also good as long as you don't get yourself mixed up in the wrong crowd,

Me and my family are new to Elmont and I have twin daughters that attend Elmont Memorial HS. They are enjoy the different Activities and events thru out the school. The principal is a very hard working person for his school. I think we are going to enjoy it there. Go Class of 2014!!!

There are a variety of Academic programs offered including review classes for all majors test and exams. Teachers are available before and after classes to explain any area of difficulty students may encounter in any subject area. They have had great representation in the Math and Science Fairs over the years. Students have options for music participation. The school has representation the all music programs open to school...example, All County Music and NYSSMA. They continue to excel in sports such as football, basketball, lacrosse, volleyball, and others. There are a number of extracurricular activities for student involvement. Some programs that are considered impressive are, Key Club, Leadership Core, Talented and Gifted Club, FBLA, Model UN, and many more. Parent involvement is viewed satisfactory and there is much being done to improve this.

Overall academics are well above average for this school. Excellence is expected of the students and this school has won numerous awards. The staff is experienced and cares about the success of each individual student.

this school is ok. were good in our acidemic field of view, but i really wishhhhhhhhhhhhhhh we could be better football wise. maybe if we got new equipment or a better field to play on we could preform better and with more confidence. so we could win a CHAMPIONSHIP
